My dad has told me that after watching how I parent, he wishes he were my kid. While validating, I'd rather have had a better childhood instead.
I've experienced hypomania before. I was absolutely convinced that My version of reality was correct. It took a lot of trust in those closest to me for me to start seeing the discrepancies between what I thought I was experiencing and what was real. He doesn't trust anybody so he will never get that reality check. I had no power at the time and I could have easily destroyed the lives of those I love. We are now seeing what happens when somebody with tons of power experiences this...
I really thought that was a dog's snout...
