I've done that and bought every medicine known to man. His fins refuse to grow back to how they were no matter what I do.
My half moon looked similar until his fins got all screwed up. He seems happy, though ragged. Still love him though!

Yeah I've seen that too! I don't think that's a huge factor when actually designing, but depending on the situation it can be.
That's definitely a factor too. You wouldn't want to use a Typeface that's all in capitals for a body of text. It'd be hard to read!
Clothes change the person like typeface changes the letters.
