They ate one of my squash plants that was growing at the edge of their enclosure. They had just enough food for 7 days without intervention.
No doubt. We had a raiding earlier this year which is why we had to re flock. New and improved fence line is buried a foot-and-a-half down.

No this is day 5. That's another really nice thing about that particular festival. Working villages. Personal responsibility.

Second time this hive was harvested this summer. They're crazy!

4 frames. This is the second harvest this year. I don't normally take much, but they needed room as it is only July!
Thank goodness climate change isn't A Thing or we'd be in terrible trouble
