Yes. Data centers are objectively bad for the communities they inhabit

From finding THE car to buying w/ Carvana was 11 mins including getting BOA financing. <20 minutes over the next week of interactions and then the car showed up.

Bought my last 2 cars via Carvana. From decision to initial interaction complete, including getting BOA financing was 11 minutes. <20 minute additional over a week.

It is possible, though highly unlikely.

Agree on the concern about this administration, but the program has had bipartisan support since 2012: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemis_program

If we want to look at unnecessary spending, war is probably a bigger concern. Defense is an order of magnitude bigger expense, and it seems like we're going at it for funsies.

100%, it's a matter of scale that is tough to comprehend. It's easy to think NASA has a huge budget, but each Artemis rocket through launch is about $4B, and we'll be building 12 COLUMBIA class submarines with the lead ship costing $15B in procurement alone.

Importantly(!) getting to orbit means going around the earth so fast that falling towards it just makes you move in a circle. At that point, (when out of the atmosphere) it requires minimal power to maintain. If you go strait up, you will come back down or slowly drift into space if you reach escape velocity.

You're right except about the part calling them right. There is no equality between the republicans and the democrats right now. Democrats will disavow other dems who do heinous things. Republicans close ranks and tolerate apparently literally anything.

150 $/hr * 40 hours per week * 52 weeks = 316,000

You're delusional. That's 316k/yr base salary not counting overtime.

All well and good. When the biggest issue is settled, they should also get voted out for their prior votes

There was an article citing an FBI agent saying it is most common for family members to convince their relatives to turn themselves in because the alternative of getting cornered and killed is extremely high probability.

That -damned sure- is the truth and still feels not strong enough. I did this for 18 months before I installed my mechanical interlock, but it was triple checking everything EVERY time. Stepping up your generator through a transformer will kill a lineworker.

Gonna have to try real hard to convince me that's real... Every line bisecting the image perfectly? Treetops on the right to left of the road on the left. Nearside riverbank on the right to tree leave lines on the left.
