I would say that most regen med and tissue engineering research is aimed at autologous treatments for this reason.
Yes.Using a patient's own cells in a treatment is called autologous.This doesn't require lifelong meds like normal transplants

In addition to Wake Forest, I would also recommend looking into the McGowen Institute at U. Pitt.
this is definitely a diverse field. there's room for all kinds of backgrounds. I think regen med could use more engineers, but i'm biased.

Its a poorly designed parking lot. Why funnel people with carts down a sidewalk thats completely surrounded by a high curb.
I don't know what going on with this dog, but when a cat is refereed to as calico, its due to X-link inactivation.
Only male rats do that. Its called scent marking. Females that are comfortable with their environment don't.
Its terrible isn't it? Kids these days getting to be themselves without being bullied. Definitely a change for the worse.
