To be fair, it's also misleading. Dealerships get many kickbacks and rewards for x # of sales from the manufacturer.

My wording was poor, but basically prior to auctioning you have to offer it back to the Academy for $1. If they decline you can auction.
Not entirely true. Depends on academy status and date of reception. Very old ones yes, newer ones you can not auction, ever.
