Feels like a stretch honestly... especially compared to number 1 lol

In the context-less clip it was definitrly an overreaction. Woman or not if that is security they should be capable of grabbing his wrist forcing him out the establishment without risking life or permanent injury for a light graze. Dumb ass move or not. Mind you, if this is a repeat offender, clearly warned, and/or came after something truly heinous you could change my mind.
Not saying it isn't important or relevant.. or at least WAS important but honestly this is just a systemic issue that, while unnecessarily accelerated, was to some extent inevitable. We're a lorified capitalistic oligarchy, we just pretend we're a "democratic" republic. You can't fix a system like this by playing by the very rules engineered for those currently in power to have gained such power, and if by some miracle you start to succeed they won't give it up peacefully.
I dont like furbies... I dont like metal music... I dont like simulation games... I dont like spicy food. But when my wonderful boyfriend starts talking about these things I am happy to listens and participate with him because my love for him and his passion creates similar feeling for me... at least as long as he is the medium. That's how it should be in any kind of healthy loving relationship romantic or otherwise. I'm sorry your first wasn't someone like that.
My roommate recently commented that the longer we live together, the more my partner and I start singing about whatever mundane task we're currently doing, and she doesn't know who is influencing whom.
I don't think sokka needed to be sexist but they didn't replace it with anything compelling either. Sokka is the only non bender and his later arcs represent coming to terms with how that and how to be useful outside of pure power since he will never match up to that. But the Netflix version is like the opposite of that... And the whole episode with suki in the adaptation kinda feels more disrespectful to women in the show than anything sokka ever said in the animation.
She is insecure and they make it to where her father is still trying to make her prove she worth something and she knows it. For me azula represents everything ozai wants from the fire nation. She is the ideal child and she knows it. She is confident and terrifying and you forget she's 14. And her insecurity is born from the inherent fragility of basing your whole perception of the world being based on what you parents say is true and being proven wrong and then the fragile 14 year girl pops out
Eh I'd give it like a 4.5\10... better than most anime adaptations but not very good. If you look at it ina. Vacuum it's mid to meh. I don't disagree with your points but there are at least some cool bits and it's far from being offensive. I personally hate it just for what it does to azula and bumi, but the funeral seems iroh's son was truly a wonderful addition to canon even if the rest of the series isn't
