So your view is that congress is so corrupted that they would not raise minimum wage even if their personal income depended on it? That their kickbacks from big companies are so large that their official pay does not matter? Then I do not understand how this would prevent a lower income person from becoming a congressman. They would be receiving the corruption too.

OHH. First PC game I played was Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of Lounge Lizards, late 80s in the high school computer lab. I never knew what a "leisure suit" was, I have always thought it like the jogging gear what russians wear. I remember how horribly the graphics sucked compared to Amiga or even C64. I guess I've never come up with the term later in life, when I could have checked the meaning from somewhere.

Congress pay should depend on minimum wage... Like "A congressman gets X times the minimum wage per month". (And X cannot be changed).
