i think you are correct. This was my guess as well, but I don't know anything about wildflowers. They just looked like they would make a cool picture as i rode by on the bike!

My fan that i use for sleeping has 4 modes: 1, 2, Turbo, and Sleep mode. Can you guess the only mode that has an LED? That's right, the only mode on the fan that has an LED is SLEEP MODE and even worse its a blue LED. I taped over it with black tape.
I'll give you a unique perspective. I'm from Alabama, lived 27 years born and raised. I've lived in Germany the last 9 years. I tell my people from Alabama all about socialist democratic Germany and they don't believe me, don't think it can work, and lately have been lashing out at me for being unamerican. Well yeah, America is really bad compared to Germany.
I mean in the sense that modern capitalism is very much a broken system that benefits less and less people. If people start talking about how capitalism sucks and needs to change it's all "Socialist! Commie!" In the sense that you can't say capitalism is shit it is very much sold to us.
not enough people understand that our beloved capitalism is just our version of communism: Sold to us as the undisputed miracle of an economic system that is better than all previous versions. Did you know, that to Russia, WE are Russia. To China, WE are China. You have to be careful of brainwashing just because you live in that current system.

Im an Alabama boy living in germany for 7 years. I had a thick southern accent before i move here, and i moved here with no german language knowledge. I speak German every day all day and many people dont know I'm foreign unless we work together for a few days. Just wanted to rub it in mwuhaha :)

People aren't suing each other, there are no settlements. It's basically immigration and real estate law.
You are wrong. Have you lived in Germany? There is real competition to be a teacher, but the "law culture" of America doesn't exist here.
But this is my point: lowest average rent in America is the upper side of the average rent in all of Germany. I'm paying €675 for a 2br 2ba

So the German NYC is 4 points higher than a high crime poor southern city.
Frankfurt is a bad example here because it's the financial center of Germany (so german NYC) and Memphis is an extremely poor Tennessee town
It's difficult to compare, it's 2 different systems. A state teacher has won the lotto, a lawyer enjoys studying law. Ok rant over
Taken care of and the security, both in life and financially, is more prized than the lawyers.
Last thing to add: state job in Germany is something extremely nice. The lawyer will fluctuate, but the state teacher is extremely well

Health insurance was insane, no paid time off, etc.
