Oh when I said work I meant the effort that it takes to cook meals. When I was on SNAP from 20-23, I had to get frozen foods because fresh produce was too much time. I wasn’t allowed to purchase frozen meals, either. So I was basically eating eggs and/or rice made in a rice cooker, and veggies I could make in an air fryer bc they were the quickest and least effortful things I could get bc I was working, going to grad school, and involved in a part time internship. The reqs are so dumb.
Because you should work to make your meals is the ridiculous stance. In my state, you’re not supposed to be able to buy _premade_ food, hot or not. It can’t be considered ready to eat. Fun part about that tho is the gentrification of some of the grocery stores has brought sushi into the scene and racism considers it uncooked food. So I had sushi on the go for many a quick meal I had no time to make, lol
You can upload photos to TikTok but people typically do videos bc the photo albums don’t usually do well since they push videos. Unless, of course, your algorithm pulls them, but then you’re being shown something in the minority content wise, which implicates many more problems, anyways

And this right here is why I typically avoid CBT tools as a licensed therapist. Not because it doesn’t work in the moment, but notice how you use the word “triage.” It’s not a beneficial long term therapy because once the accountability is removed, people will return. I want my clients *not* to return as best as possible, not that I won’t see them if they do. It’s just not meant for long term healing- it’s a bandaid.

Man I miss the days of just being a musician… None of my friends that are physically close to me are musicians so none of them understand the fun of picking up an instrument and screwing around til you get it well enough to perform (with probably an obligation tied to it, too, lol). Last time I performed on clarinet and guitar was at my partner’s father’s celebration of life in 2024. Don’t get me wrong, I love the hobbies I do spend with my friends, but music just hits different.
I’m using Obsidian to make my campaign for a ttrpg! It isn’t Dungeons and Dragons, but we’re ending there bc my friends and are being gracious enough to try a different system and setting. Their treat at the end is getting to fight one of the bosses from Baldur’s Gate 3 as their favorite character builds they’ve made in the game translated to real DnD. Obsidian has made my life easier as an ADHDer in making what I have so far lol

MediaLab owns Imgur from what I gather rn. Not only have they continued to allow these heinous ads, but they fired the entire behind the scenes staff save the mods, then fired the mods and replaced them with AI. The website’s notification system is broken so you may or may not see this, and then recently they banned many supportive and common posters, the only one I can think of rn is Lassann
I love the videos he does with his wife. They’re v sweet and also extremely validating looooooooool. But otherwise this is v hopeful speculation that I hope bc it’s informed it’s more accurate than not. Hope is helpful to have, but remember we can be more efficacious in building hope by cultivating it with what’s actually in our control~

2/2 - Just be careful that for the cats Cuddle Clones makes, if you wanted one, can trick your brain on accident bc of their size. The time it takes to get one made and shipping is surprisingly small for something like this but still long enough to give time adjusting.
