For myself, I'm not minimalist. I have way too many books for that to be true. However, It's been a point of friction between me and my partner. She can tolerate more mess than I can and I sometimes feel like a nag. It's hard to explain to other people how hopeless a mess can make me feel.
These could be my own childhood home as well. The only thing missing would be 27 cats. I still get sad thinking about it. It turned me into kind of a neat-freak. You?
