This. Hell, I say pay them more so that bribes mean less. Also, build some luxurious housing for them and provide private transportation and a free cafeteria staffed by Michelin star chefs - take away any and all excuses. On the flip side add term limits, set a maximum age, install ranked choice voting, eliminate gerrymandering, create required town hall type constituent meetings, and, most important, ban large (and corporate) campaign donations.

I was just in Italy and their bread kinda sucks. Everything else was delicious, but we were constantly disappointed in the bread (we were told they don't use salt when they make it).
When he's gone we need the Canadians to come in and burn it down again so we can start fresh. I can't imagine we could ever get rid of the smell.

I saw a local mayor on the news today responding to a question about an early warning system and he said it was "rejected" by FEMA in 2017 - seems like he has it backwards (aka, blame others for whatever you're guilty of, aka the current Republican playbook).

You wouldn't have to prove anything. As long as THEY can't prove you intentionally tried to hurt someone (like spiking the food with something inedible), you're fine. Burden of proof is on the prosecution, not the defendant.

2/ The EMT showed up he asked him if he could walk to the aid station nearby and the guy said "yes", so the EMT started moving forward but the guy didn't move. 3 times the EMT asked "can you walk?" and the guy would say "yes", but then not move. Finally the EMT said "Ok, can you sit down then?".. "yes",,, no movement. The EMT even tried to force his knees to bend so he would sit but he resisted. Wheelchair finally arrived and they basically had to push him into it. Hope the guy is okay. /end
Son ran a half marathon a few weeks ago and it was hotter than expected. He did fine, but while we were standing around afterwards a guy kind of stumbled into me, said "excuse me", and kept walking. I watched him and when he stumbled again I went over to help. Obvious signs of heatstroke. While I held his arm as we waited for med help I was trying to make small talk and asked if he ran a half or 10k..."Uhh, I don't know". Very scary. /1

The first time through I thought the first cat's name was "Matt" and I couldn't figure out why that poor kitty didn't get an ingredient related name 😞
I always wondered why his chest protector looked so wrinkled and smaller in this scene - recently found out there's a deleted scene just before this where he is shot and it deflates comedically.
Absolutely, but the proper way to do it is to cut a normal sized piece that is a bit odd shaped, then you "have" to keep trimming around to get everything squared again.
