I'm a nerd that does tech support for a consumer electronics company. I like most of the things that entails, with the exception of sci-fi. I'm more of an epic fantasy or paranormal detective kind of guy. Except for Firefly, Firefly rocks. I enjoy all things sharp and shiny and have ambitions to one day build my own forge and make my own knife shaped object. I also like diy type stuff and gadgets of all kinds. I'm not good at diy stuff, but that doesn't stop me from trying.

I think you could cut a lot of the shipboard scenes, they don't really add much development to Galen.
