I had a friend who checked on weekends, and he was finding things on different days. Soon enough, it was rare to NOT find an employee there.
Went back each day and there were laptops, cameras, palm pilots, a monitor... then it all just stopped. It was clear it was an inside job...
"DO NOT INVENTORY" - Well, I took her home and she booted right up. Faster machine than the one I had at home. I sold it....
And inside theirs was a Compaq computer. Stickers still on it. Post-it that said "Defective/Floor Model" and a sticker on front that said...
I used to work at a store that was nextdoor to a CompUSA. Upon running out of room in our dumpster, I decided to throw some crap in theirs..
