The hero we need in the world - keep being awesome, friend!

A suggestion which has helped me, a fellow compliment starved man - compliment yourself. It's pretty fucking cringe when you start, but it's become an important part of my self care. As in throughout the day when I've got a moment, I'll literally say out loud "I love you" just to myself. At first, I was doing it ironically, and didn't even believe it, but the more I did it I realised there is a solemn defiance to being your own biggest cheerleader, and overtime the statement has become true.

Oh, that was a heart eyes emoji which apparently didn't come through in the main post - that's frustrating

I stole a hat meant for a kid in broad daylight. Here's what it taught me about B2B sales.

For those late comers who are confused, I think #43 was an image of OP accidentally doxxing themselves, but it has since been deleted and #43 now points to the Juggalo Jesus AI image. Thank you for understanding ๐Ÿ™‡ We now return you to your regularly scheduled memes.

Did you actually watch it? It's a practical guide to reframing stress as your body mechanically preparing for challenges. It has helped me, hence why I shared it. If you are feeling systemic and chronic levels of stress, obviously go to a therapist if you can, but that's not an option for everyone, and sometimes small interventions are all people need - no need for the negativity.

Celcius and Fahrenheit are both Interval scales, not Ratio scales, because there is no absolute 0 value in these scales. Therefore, multiplication, division, and ratios, and related comparisons, are meaningless.

But what's, like, the actual deal with this? Is it a genuine motivation thing? A parady? A bit of both? I'm both confused and inspired.

Correct. "Physician and journalist Dr Norman Swan" didn't fit the character limit ?

His dad is Dr Norman Swan who is a journalist in Australia for the ABC and is a trusted voice for Covid news/advice. Great father son duo.

Visiting the US from Australia, pharmaceutical ads were one of the most culture shockingly bizzare things I came across.

Is there anything worse than seeing dotted notation and 'swung' together? Bich just notate straight eighths, we can swing 'em fine.

'Home' version is a common misinterpretation of the triplet rhythm. Triplet should be 3 even pulses, not quantised to align with the beats.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No, very much not the same. In fact, the 'home' version is how a lot of people incorrectly play the triplet rhythm, which is the joke.

Not if it's cut common time - would be 2 minum beats to the bar. We don't have a time signature so don't have context.

And the grass! There are individual strands! Who knew?

Wrong. It's an engineering tool which can be used well or poorly, just like any other tool.
