If you want action try hunter x hunter 2011. It's not nearly as childish as it looks.
Has always been very weak and venusaur has been decent. With mega evolutions they both become incredibly strong competitively.
Mega stones let certain pokemon "mega evolve" which is a temporary evolution lasting until the end of battle. Competitively charizard...1\2

That set gets hard walled by steel and poison type and any taunt user. I'm just really hoping the 2nd gen starters get mega evos soon.
It's easily the worst starter in competitive play. Outclassed in basically everything.

I'll sadly admit that i was amazed for a second thinking someone actually had the other half...I am not a smart man
