I have an almost identical rock that formed around basalt and the shell is pretty much entirely calcite.
Minerals can be single elements crystals (see gold). However this specific bismuth isn't as it wasn't naturally made.
Biggest HUNSTMAN ever photographed in AUSTRALIA. Our Hunstman aren't the biggest of the species. I believe those are in Asia.
Every time i've seen one under threat they don't mess around. Hell i've even seen one try attack unprovoked.
