What's with that Trump dude putting up phalluses all over the world...
You underestimate the sheer number of little kingdoms in medieval central Europe. The kingdom in question is probably not much bigger than a castle, the hill it's built on and a few peasant villages. Burning all the spinning wheels is easily accomplished if you only have to account for a few villages. And then owning 12 gold anything is pretty good.
Well, I don't know about that guy's sauce, but I used to live there. And it's fast growing pines, planted for wood harvesting everywhere. However, I don't think this region has been actively farmed in the last 30 years. So I wouldn't go so far as that the ecosystem was not that diverse. There weren't a lot of different trees, though :)
But won't these players usually spent hours over hours of fine tuning or finding glitches or restarting games to get the best random conditions. So even if the run only takes 3 hours or 1 hours, they will have spent ages in the game, won't they?
That headline is a real mess. Who was kidnapped by whom, who was attacked by whom, who was killed?
Sure. But I assume it is pretty difficult to turn a densely populated urban environment into a flood plain. Intentionally, that is. Judging by the images from Bavaria, it's pretty easy to do by accident.
This is the second time in as many days that I see that phrase spelled like that. I always assumed it's "to bury the lead". Now I had to look it up. TIL, a "lede" is an introductory paragraph in journalism. And it's intentionally spelled like that so that it's not confused with "lead" (the metal) in printing. The mind, it boggles.
While this is true, the flooding here is caused by torrential rains. There's just no amount of flood plains that will equip you to deal with that amount of water falling as rain in that time span. Hundreds of litres per hour. Maybe there are ways to mitigate this, by "unsealing" the ground wherever possible.
tail wagging is a sign of agitation, can be positive excitement, can be negative. And the way the dog is showing its fangs and the way it is side-eying the human, it is very stressed and on constantly on the verge of open hostility. Matter of time before the idiot gets his face chewed off, and deservedly so
Also, isn't this just a party internal voting who they want to put up as a candidate in the real election? So who cares? Go nuts with your votes. I assumed this is all the respective party's responsibility to organize?
Wait, there's a comic?
It's a reference to a Tool song. As is the post's title.
I suspected that from the get go. I have the same fan at home and the radiator has a German look about it :)
I might regret asking this, but isn't there a court in the USA especially to handle this? When election officials here in Berlin, Germany totally screwed up the organization of the elections, the whole thing ended up in court and the results where overturned and the election had to be repeated.
OMG, I have only watched up until season 9 o.O!
Wait, is this Bob's Burgers? I thought, the series was done, over, finished. Why is there a recasting? Are there new episodes?!
Can she sleep in the bed or on the couch when it is this cold?
and then there's the flat earth people who believe that NASA would be able to keep any secret at all...

The disc's standing magical field slows the light down, ofc. Obvious, really.
