It's the Loss meme but using the lyrics to line up with it instead of the pictures.
Just reread them within this last year or so
I hate having that knowledge in my brain. Commencing Auto delete function....
Tried for a hand pic, but couldn't get any good lighting, it mostly looked like a club foot. :D
Your lighting and angle was better than my kneecap photo I posted to that other thread. ;)
Here's a knee. :) Have fun!
Same here. I had to read every comment to finally get it. I was trying to get the pictures to line up with it, which is what you usually see, but in this case it's the lyrics.
Is this the new Internet challenge?
#8 I always see this quote and I realize what people mean by it, but it's just so damn wrong and uninformed. What the hells do you think dishwashers and washer/dryers are for? They are *already* doing 95% of your dishes and laundry for you. Those tasks used to take hours of your day to do completely by hand. That's why all the commercials in the 50s were advertising "The Kitchen of Tomorrow" to housewives. That was one of the first things to get automated. We need a better anti-AI quote.
I have a problem with the age group being monitored is 15-19. Why not 15-17 and 18-19 as two separate categories instead of lumping together what is generally considered "child" vs "adult" into a single group?
It's definitely not perfect, and is just my half assed idea.
A *potential* partial solution would be to establish a list of hard coded generic subject tags and enforce that every post must have at least one and then you can add more specific tags after that, then split Most Viral by topics. Part of the issue is people chasing that achievement to get their post in front of everybody. And the tags would have to be enforced by the system with the vigor they currently put into blocking female nipples.
It comes of people not treating this site as an image hosting site that folks can browse at their leisure and see things that interest them and instead as an opinion and special interest pushing site where you farm engagement by putting your views in front of as many people as you can. It's the same enshittification Facebook went through. And while the right seems to be heavy into bots, the left is heavy on rage bait posts. Both sides are guilty of helping ruin the site.
Yep, that's pretty much what happened. Some of us were vocally for requiring tags, and enough people (and money I have no doubt) bitched about people being able to block their posts by tag that they got it nerfed. The site's been mostly shit since. Tagging was made harder by no standardization in the tags: is it politic, politics, Trump, Biden, election, getoutandvote, etc? Merely requiring a tag was easily avoided by putting in a unique or useless tag.
Maybe that's what I'd heard/read, the modern versions. Thanks for the info!
I'll have to look it up, but I got the impression kilts were an 1800s invention...
My fun little trivia addendum to this video is that Huey Lewis and the News was the first concert I ever attended, and Weird Al was the last.
Fair point!
It looks like the trees being cut down is very recent and snopes is just out of date of current events
Not yet, but I will add it to the list! I have an entire tub full of extension cords, does that count?
Yeah, the feng shui is terrible, I can see that... ;) But point taken, will clean up and reorganize after I get everything in it.
I have a polearm.... it's not a great hammer, but it does have other uses. ;)
As a non-handyman .... I'll merely scratch my head in puzzlement and say "Duhhh.... dat's a lotta hammers, Boss...."
Same
I don't enjoy peening my balls. I know lots of folks do, but it's just not my thing.
I had to put my pry bars in a different drawer. It's not the largest tool cabinet, but I don't have that many tools. Should be plenty of space, once I get all the boxes and bags and crates sorted.
You don't have hammer time 24/7?
As you said in the first photo caption, autocorrect sucks, and you fixed her name there. Your tags at the end still have the wrong name in it, if you can fix those (not sure if you can or not) Thanks for caring and keeping it straight!
