I vaguely recall Obama himself questioning why he did get. But I also vaguely recall he had a sincere (although probably naive) plan for global nuclear disarmament, which may have played a role. Not sure if the prize didn't come first tho.

Europe: I had series of very, very expensive treatments, all covered by health insurance. All I paid was parking at the clinic.
tbf, Europe has its fair share of terrible architecture, so depends; the one consistent difference is that all is more compact in Europe, so much easier to make walkable, etc.

I'm surprised how timid public figures in US are now considering the situation, even compared to blunt reactions in other countries, which should be less concerned about this.
well I get that, but still I assume there should be something written that is supposed to allow authorities do it, at least they think / interpret it that way (probably incorrectly), so curious based on what they do it

Can someone explain to my non-american friend, why a country so proud about their checks and balances can have a system, where the executive branch can apparently easily block itself from prosecution? I'm certainly missing something, because that looks like a system loophole the size of Sagittarius A*.
perhaps this one is rather big or heavy for everyday carry, but I have a victorinox (yes, it has tiny scissors too) always with me, proved useful countless times, and I find it funny how some people are surprised when I take it out
I like how today's "coolest" mech keyboards sound basically like these ordinary ones we've been using during that ancient times.
