Yeah, again I’ve heard it used in the military but rarely. It’s usually more of a tv “support the troops” where I’ve heard that one. We were never told not to use it, but I’m army
Now that I think about it, troop is used as well to refer to everyone. It just seems like because of the brevity, you hear it more from the news / media rather than other people in the military
This is how it has always applied to me, too. Warfighter or service member like you said to refer to the whole rather than the more specific soldier (Army), airmen, sailors, marines etc

Well, I’m far from an aficionado lol. A lot of bravado for sure during these, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t entertaining. I felt bad for the bulls during the run because they would slip on the cobblestone. In the arena they seemed more in their element. There was still a bull who hopped a fence once in Los Arcos during the run (granted it was only about waist high). The people on the other side definitely got more show than they were prepared for
I’m not defending either, but no, not indultado. My experience was from a small town in Spain while walking the Camino. There was a big festival, a bull run, and then a bull “fight” where the young men of the town were in the arena together. So, not the 1v1 and their goal was to get its attention. They would jump over the bull sometimes. No violence. Just athleticism. The bulls went back to the farm afterwards albeit quite confused I’m sure
They don’t always kill them. Sometimes it’s more of a bull dodge than a bull fight

Big horses are a ~relatively new thing. Selective breeding over the last few centuries has resulted in some of these behemoths
