I get my political news here, on imgur, so keep me informed.
We already have term limits---it's called The Vote. The citizens should have the final say about who represents them and if they think a candidate is too old (among other possible reasons) they simply vote them out. But if they think an officeholder is doing well for them, they keep them. The trick is to have smart voters---do we think that is not possible?

Speed doesn't matter here. I it is illegal to pass a school bus that is stopped with red lights flashing and a "STOP' sign showing. It's to keep traffic from hitting thoughtless kids who run across the street from in front of the bus.
