We already have term limits---it's called The Vote.

The citizens should have the final say about who represents them and if they think a candidate is too old (among other possible reasons) they simply vote them out. But if they think an officeholder is doing well for them, they keep them. The trick is to have smart voters---do we think that is not possible?

People are not having kids because they sense that the world is already overpopulated. There may be other reasons too, although you should note that many of them flow from the large number of people here: shortages, expenses, pollution, crowding and the tensions it produces, ...

The idea is that kids are impulsive and can often run across the road in front of the bus when traffic would not be able to see them in time. The bus driver keeps the lights on until the kids are clearly not able to do that.

Yes.

Speed doesn't matter here. I it is illegal to pass a school bus that is stopped with red lights flashing and a "STOP' sign showing. It's to keep traffic from hitting thoughtless kids who run across the street from in front of the bus.

This law is not written to protect the bus! The idea is that kids are impulsive and can often run across the road in front of the bus when traffic would not be able to see them in time. The bus driver keeps the lights on until the kids are clearly not able to do that.

Say, what's this about Jared Fetterman voting in favor of Trump's illegal actions? Should I not have voted for him?

In addition to all the insights here, I think a lot---most?---freight handlers can relate to and appreciate TVs more than bicycles.
