As a white American, if ice ever raids my neighborhood, or my place of work, the only way that they are taking anyone away is if I’m first, and in a body bag

Honestly having driven a jeep of that era it’s not all that much trouble. Pop that shit on 4-low and let that shit idle over the curb. The AMC inline 6 engine in those made only a little over 180hp but it made 230ish lb-ft and it was all before 2k on the tach. Shit could idle over most things and off you needed throttle you were actually off road

Holly fucking shit those tolls are expensive, I haven’t been paying mine (will be taking care of it, my card was removed from toll account without my knowledge) and after 2 months of using the 429 and Florida turnpike I only owe like $60

There has been next to no government funding for wild land firefighters for decades out side of the forest service. 87% of all fire departments in the us are volunteer based funded via donations or at a state level via local income tax and toll enforcement.

When you drive for a living you get bored of your own playlists and your audio books sometimes. The radio is always there and maybe you find something new. Also some stations are funded specifically for emergency public broadcasting, so 99.9 percent of the time they are playing music and ads but stay around for that emergency situation

This is full of edge case, in the op’s situation a gun would have been effective, and honestly a gun is a better tool to convince people to stop than it is to kill in self defense. As a gun owner you hope you never have to pull the trigger, and as a gun owner myself I have had to present my gun but never had to pull the trigger.
