Summer just started too. It's too hot to be alive, and we still have to make it through July and August. I miss snow.

As a software consultant I'm urged to dress "business casual" when I'm on site but I typically work from home.
Some people literally cannot get hired because they don't have the money to buy clothes and shoes nice enough for an interview.
Unless those are supposed to be jeans and tennis shoes.
According to this I've always dressed "casual" on client sites even though the dress code says "business casual." I never wear a jacket.

It's so easy to teach yourself IT these days that most employers only use those to filter out the less confident. If you have it, go for it.

I found a better paying job and when I mentioned this to my employer of 10 years I was almost immediately offered a ~25% raise.
People in the north are at least aware enough to know they drive like fucktards.
