But...it didn't mean I had to take the abuse.
Something from Family Guy, of all places, that stuck with me... "You always love family. That doesn't mean you have to like them." To me, it says that the family thing is something that is just what you're born into. But you don't have to like your family members as people. Like... I was sad when my grandmother died, but I wasn't crying because I didn't always like her. She was exhausting and manipulative. Knowing her difficult past, I can understand how she got to be that way.
Yeah. Old footage like this is as close to the mindfuckery of time travel as we're likely to get. *I say old with an air of resignation as I was a senior in college when this happened*
.....that's breakfast? That's a lot of food... I have a nice bowl of cereal.
....a Hot Shots Part Deux reference? Wow.
Imagine being pathetic enough to pick a war of words with a 15 year old.
.....oh man, knowing what's coming still doesn't prepare you for what's coming. 25 years in the future, I'm still wanting to shout START RUNNING AWAY NOW!
......ack? Ack ack.
I guess that would have to be said. I forget we're living in an age where it's not just assumed everyone grew up without the internet. Just to be clear, I'm in my mid-40s. I grew up with the originals. I just wasn't a fan. So I wouldn't have known anything about the fan community of my time.
Was the MLP....uh....stuff... a thing prior to that generation of the franchise? Were the '80s Ponies...elbow deep?
I get the joke...but the dark-haired girl could just be having fun messing with the blonde's mind:)
If more religious people had his values, we'd have no reason to say things like I just said.
While I appreciate your thinking, you definitely did not do your research on this particular Senate seat. Markey's closest victory Senate victory was his first one when there had to be a special election to replace John Kerry who had become Obama's Secretary of State. He won by 10 points in 2013, 55 to 45. 2014 was 62 to 38. 2020 was 66 to 33.
Given he's the incumbent many times over....I'd say yes.
Connecticut's not too bad, either.
Yep. Good people and good politics should matter more than age. If someone is still championing good causes, I don't care about how old they are. BTW, Professor Senator Warren is awesome. My dream ticket has long been some combo of Warren and Sanders.
I have not heard a single thing about Sigourney Weaver that does not make her sound awesome. Her absolute joy at playing against type in this movie makes me laugh every time.
Why is sex crossed out? It's still obvious what the word is.
'ACTUAL BORING ANSWER'... It had gotten ingrown and very infected. Podiatrist basically just said... 'We can do one option where this problem might happen again or we can just kill the nailbeds on the sides and this'll never happen again, BUUUUUUUUT we have to remove the whole nail first to let everything, uh...drain.' I chose option two because I don't have any attachment to my toenails:P
I wish! That would've been a good story to horrify people with;)
.....yeah, I was about to question that. I mean, is that ever a normal amount of nail? Last time I had a nail that looked like that was after I had my big toenail removed and it was starting to grow back!
.....truth in advertising. /deadpan humor
I've reached a point where I've said screw it, I'm a baby. Got some baby shampoo with no smells or colors. Best shampoo ever.
"PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!"
YEP! Back in high school, had a good friend who was Mormon... super nice kid. Glad that as he got older, he started fighting back against the cultiest parts of his upbringing. Haven't quite pressed him on why he still is nominally a Mormon, but... he puts lots of support into LGBTQ causes and the like.
Trump is the spray-tanned straw that broke the camel's back.
And they fought battles to protect this cult. Oh golly, I wish I was joking.
Not that I've looked, really, but what's been said?
LaTTex day!
Lucky dog.
