1 hour from my house. Than last year another 15 minutes from my house. Patience pays off!
I searched for 4 years. Then I found the SS sitting in s field in Colorado. Then that same year I found a 4 door sitting in a field
I have two 1967 4 door Impalas as well :x
A vacuum former. Heat up plastic, suck the melted plastic down with the table and vacuums over an object. It's how they made stormtroopers

Oh my goD STAHP. Mine is $80 a month for 3mbps, 15 minutes away are real providers but they won't come out just a little more this way.
When can I move in?
I had tons of issues with mine and it took FOREVER to get it working properly. If you tackle it again and have issues let me know

I wouldn't go as far to say unfinished... all of the items are done, the only thing missing is until she has time to put it all on.
Hoping to get those within the next few days. If not I will have to bug her about it
I somehow was signed up twice last year. I sent two gifts, and received nothing back. After that heart break I can't do it again :(

I've only watched the show a few times, but having access to stuff like that is amazing. Been slowly amassing my tools over the years.
I use ABS and have it cut to a custom size by them for my former.
Cosplaying is like the #1 reason I built it. Makes things soooooooooo much easier.

They're way far from me, I'm in Kansas. I order online and shipping is only about $15 more. So far, they are the cheapest plastic supplier

If it has much of a concave it won't work too well. Unless you can drill a hole in that area for it to get sucked down.

I use ABS, the melting point of that is around 200°F, so it's pretty close to that temperature.
I think the thickest one they make is 1/8"
The thickness I'm using currently is 1/16" and it works flawlessly. I order all of my plastic from TAPPlastics.
