I'm the opposite. In one ear and out the other, can't make heads or tails of the meaning fast enough so I have to ask people to repeat themselves or write it down.

I'm struggling to understand how treating all members of a certain group with a different weight than others is the solution. Shouldn't we be treating people as though they are individuals?

Oh no, we don't believe in that, but we should be giving credit where credit is due that a right winger wasn't a hypocrite. Dude died in a way he felt was acceptable, while discussing the very topic. I may not like his politics, but I can say he died in an honorable way.

Given their first aid kits are probably just vinyl bandaids, it's going to do something more than what they have. It may not stop 100% of shrapnel deaths, but even a 20% reduction is a huge win for Russia when they can't conscript any more without angering the few people still propping Putin up.
Artillery was the main way of doing "passive" damage to the entrenched troops, so that makes sense. Unfortunately my knowledge of the first world war is limited through mostly games, so that's my only real knowledge of it aside from brief mentions in school text books. Glad to know my limited knowledge at least has some worth

The bar was known for fantastic food, and when the owners changed and the food got shitty he no longer went, so I'm hoping he kept it to a single beer to go with his burger or wings, but I've never personally met him so I don't know.
My favorite thing is my lasagna pan that's is sold as a "Lasagna Pan" clearly states not to use acidic things like tomatoes in it.

What I said was apolitical and non-denominational. It's just a fact. Pizza is great, but eat only pizza and you'll die. I'm all for trans rights and support, but if you get the ball rolling too fast and you'll end up steamrolling the very people you're trying to help. It's not a sports team to root for, it's real people with real problems and acting like it's a cult is going to lead to people getting hurt. And that's not just for trans issues, it's for everything. Moderation and all that

Anything to an extreme is bad, especially echo chambers.It sucks when people take real issues and go way too extreme with it to the point of poisoning the pot.
