First thing my wife said too
he get around kinda like a kangaroo. his core is extremely strong now so he has no real problems moving. I only carry him up/down stairs.

He gets around just fine and is plenty happy. No worries there.

yup, she does. Not much we can do but love her to pieces till she can't pee anymore. It's well worth it. Senior dogs are just the best!
Based on her behavior her former owners would just feed her whenever they opened the fridge. We just got her back in May for hospice care.
sadly she's terminal, but we're making the best of it!
