sometimes meds can really suck, esp when first trying a new one. as someone who has very treatment-resistant depression & tried roughly 16 different medications my best advice is to stick w/ it & give your meds time to work. that could take 2 months for full results. there's also options to take other meds in addition to your main one(s) that can boost effectiveness. I never found just one that works for me but w/ the others I'm on they all keep me stable. good luck & glad you're still here! <3

you've got this! but please please please make sure to pee often, don't let this stuff sit in your bladder any longer than it must. my dad had cyclophosphamide as chemo for tongue cancer & beat it but started having weird bladder symptoms over a decade later. went to the dr asap, & caught bladder cancer right as it started (& beat that too) & ofc we'll never know if the cyclo had a hand in that but it's not uncommon. I wish I had known back then and made him pee constantly just in case lol
