If you get the right sub the content is way better. Even back then like 75% of cable TV was just crap if you didn't have the premium channels. More and more commercials every year, too. Over the air TV, there I can understand it. Food was a lot cheaper too because there were fewer monopolies and hence more competition. Housing was more affordable, which is ultimately why there was less inflation.

Wow, talk about your difficult choices. I mean with ships, I'd have to go with either Voyager or maybe even the Delta Flyer, but with characters it's not so easy.
