I think it’s not that they dislike mods but that having mods changes the original idea of it simply being a custom map on vanilla Minecraft.
It’s when the wind is pushing against your back. When you have a tail wind it’s easier to run faster than you’d normally be able to.
I’m not sure why people are downvoting you. His tailwind was over 4 meters per second and the limit for records is at 2 m/s
