We had a tortoise (called Sherman as per the tank) and my mother found it atop a 2 metre wall. Gave me a bollocking for messing about and putting the tortoise on there. A few weeks later many apologies when she found Sherman half way up the ivy covering the same wall.
What about Stotties?
She does it with other shampoos. I think she’s a bit sensitive to water near her ears although only clean water. Dirty river? Not a problem!

Also depends if it's a work day or weekend.
The only thing that I struggled with on Xp was drivers. If you did a clean install you then had to go find all the individual driver sets. Apart from that it was rock solid!

When did holidays get renamed as Paid Time Off? I reckon the phrase PTO was developed by companies to make it sound like we should be grateful to them graciously allowing you holidays.

Drives me nuts on the news when it says company XXXX made a loss in the last financial year. You then look at the figures and its still clearing a massive profit but just not as much as last year so it's viewed as a loss. Ridiculous.
All the better for hearing a crisp packet opening.

I used to use a synchrotron beam line (high energy X-rays) and all the valves/gates/vac pumps for each station were controlled by an old Tandy unit. When I asked the station scientist why they hadn't upgraded. The answer was......"because it works".
