In a Republic, we elect someone from among us to represent us. This is not the case any more. They see themselves as "leaders".

My rep is easy. A doctor from a hugely Tea Party area. His votes are perfect with how we want. Districts that are not as homogeneous 1/2
My Rep represents us very well and votes exactly how we want, which is why he is never opposed. My Senators also vote how my state wants
