They're spraying the machine, so it keeps its shape. You can see it glows near the end. The work is kept hot by deformation.
That way it is possible to get more or stronger enemies in the game without inevitably drowning the tank in the sheer volume of fire
I meant to put floating terrain in the level that the tank can hide under but also not fire through, so the player has to time movement well
The color scheme really brings it together
Add cover above the tank that blocks both player and enemy shots. And /or vary the ground allowing fast and slow movement
Keeping it in the fridge will save you a lot of work since you only need to feed it weekly. Well done!
