ELIZA but with CGI video

Reading the report again, it seems maybe the military resumed jamming once the aircraft was cleared for the visual approach. So it is possible that they were relying on some GPS-based equipment for terrain avoidance and that equipment didn't warn them due to the military's activity. But they shouldn't have been relying on something like that in the first place; if they even did have that equipment, it should be an emergency backup. They should have been relying on an IAP which, again, was NA.

It could be possible that their GPWS (if they had one) was unusable due to the GPS issues, and certainly the NTSB will explore that line of thinking. But the GPS jamming seems to have stopped before the pilots were cleared for the visual. And none of this changes the fact that if an IAP was necessary to land at this airport in the dark, they shouldn't have launched in the first plane. Neither IAP was authorized to be flown due to the weather reporting issue, totally separate from the GPS test.

Yeah I'm going to trust the NTSB's version of events over a journalist's version, even a journalist from the AP. The pilot reported the field in sight, was cleared for a visual approach, and THEN crashed. We will have to wait for the final NTSB report but it sounds like controlled flight into terrain on a good-visibility but dark night.

Go look at other posts instead. OP has a habit of sneaking really truly anti-Semitic conspiracy theory bullshit (not anti-Israel, anti-Semitic) into their dumps. Also some kinda racist stuff.

Fuck you, no AI, not even on 7/29.

FYI, I downvoted the entire post because of the two AI images. Do fucking better.

Yeah what the hell @op, you've had plenty of time to delete this image from the post. Do it.

Have you never seen this meme format before? That's like 80% of the point of this format.

Elizier Yudkowsky is an asshole too, but this is something I liked about the HPMOR fanfic. "What if Voldemort was actually smart?" The horcruxes were things like a grain of sand and one of the Voyager space probes.

Uh, 13 days, not 12 weeks. So about 2.5 workweeks.

Hm, someone said it might be TEB, and it looks like it could be. That is an FAA tower.

Not sure exactly where this is but I doubt it's an FAA facility. Likely a contract tower. I'm not an expert but I've heard you don't start accruing sick leave until you have a year in.

What's the source on #14? I recognize the artist from the "hotel black light raccoon" sketch but I've never seen anything else from them.

I think the vent pipe broke off when the guy/snowblower slammed into it. See how the tracks on the roof change trajectory right at the point where the pipe was. And there are a bunch of details that are the same between the two pictures: Angles of tree branches, bumps on the snow bank, less-cleared patches in the path on the left side of the roof. I would say it's real.
