Good question. I personally don't think I would; I really don't have any desire for meat anymore after 10+ years of not eating it.

Start with only 15 min of out of cage play time so its less tempting to go outside the box. Takes time, but even my blind ones learned! 2/2
I creepily watch my new rats, if I see them pee/poop I gently place them in the litter box. If they go in the box, they get a treat (1/2)
And learn tricks and be litter trained! If you would like info on adopting/owning rats let me know! =)
Rock on. Mine stop at their litter box before hopping out of the cage for playtime- it's super adorable!
They can be litter trained- even my blind one is! But agreed, the short life span will break your heart.

Dam. For me, 0 to B's... I wear bras a few times a week. I can't imagine wearing them all the time! Hope you found comfy ones.
