Considering that all MP3 encoder inputs are cut above 15kHz, it means that anything above 15lHz after decoding is an artefact and might be very different from the original unencoded audio. You can induce those signals above 15kHz just by over-amplification. Stop listening to mp3s if you truly care about sound quality that much, lossless compression formats will always sound better. Sorry for ranting 😅
