I'll believe it when I see it. If republicans didn't constantly vote against their own interests, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Wild how many of the pictures are of a bunch of white kids in highschool and college years, thinking about how segregation was legal, liked, and enforced in most of them. That system feels so arcaic, but these pictures aren't that old.

It's crazy that as a 34 year old guy, most of these people are probably younger than me at the time of these pictures, but damn if they don't all look middle aged.

The scariest part is TEACHERS are getting fired and AI is writing lessons plans and being integrated into "learning." We're truly outsourcing our ability to learn to think to 5 billionaires. No way this could go wrong, right???

I'm sure they'll get a fat cut from ICE, DOW or DOJ. There's unlimited money for fascism, remember.

TBH that should be Democrats stabbing Leftists.

Wish we could do that to data centers here.

No shot #7 isn't edited. The kid's head just completely blends into the guy's face.

"BuT iF wE DiDn'T haVe CapItAliSm We WouLDn'T hAvE CoMpuTeRs or PhoNes!" As if things need to be EXACTLY the way they are in America in order to be able to innovate, that if we had ANY worker or social protections or a wealth tax that our entire way of life would die.

Thank you for posting this, I'll add this website to my list when I'm looking for news of what's ACTUALLY happening!

We truly need 4 parties in the US, and then ranked choice voting. MAGA (Fascist right), Republican (right), Democrat (center), and DSA (Left).

Yeah the "that is everything wrong with our politics" is complete bullshit. There's a LOT wrong with our politics. MOSTLY citizens united. But also, Electoral College, gerrymandering, no term limits, no ban on insider trading, lifelong appointments for SCOTUS, no ranked choice voting, a two party system.. I'm sure I could think of several others but that was what came to my mind in a few seconds.

I would also be super sad if we started having a bunch of Luigi copycats. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if suddenly there were no more billionaires, because of course I expect to be one someday by working very hard. Imagine how lazy everyone would get if billionaires started offloading most of their wealth philanthropically in order to avoid getting Luigi'd. What a terrible world that would be.

Just read a little of her platform:

-Barring members of congress from trading stocks and getting rich off of insider information
-Supporting term limits and stronger ethics rules
-End tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and corporate polluters
-Universal background checks for gun owners. Even if she's not as progressive as most would like, sounds a hell of a lot better than Graham.

See THIS is what I want when people say to make america great again. I agree - bring back 1960s tax brackets!

It's a good reminder for Shitler that sometimes you can cheat and still lose. Let's make sure he's reminded of that in 2026 and 2028 too!

The point I'm making is that the original version of the comment makes it seem like the progressive stance is they'd rather waste tons of money in the event that a few people need help. In reality, social welfare programs are extremely efficient and not very wasteful at all. The way it was originally put makes it seem like conservatives have a leg to stand on when they want to gut everything.

"progressives would rather feed 100 people, even with the chance that 1 person didn't need it. Conservatives would rather all 100 people starve to death than risk feeding 1 person who didn't deserve it."

The problem with this analogy is that it plays into the "both sides bad" narrative. In reality, social welfare programs are incredibly efficient at meeting people's needs, and "fraud" rates are very low. They're not 0, but there's not millions of people ripping off food stamps or double dipping into social security like the right would have you believe. The better saying would be closer to:

JD Vance the other day commented how Watergate would be a "12 hour news story in today's world." And he's right. We've become so desensitised to all of the shit Trump is doing on a daily basis. We need to start burning their world to the ground!

Why don't republicans just hire from the same giant pool of available paid actors like the democrats do to attend all of their protests and conventions????? Apparently there's millions of people just waiting to get hired! /s

Don't worry - they won't see this. Fox News won't show it to them, and they don't watch anything else.

Yeah Trump cut about $8 bn of earmarked funds for an offshore wind farm, in the name of fiscal responsibility. Then went and spent that amount in about 5 days with a war no one wanted.

Indeed. The same way Elon Musk never tried to deny that it was a Nazi salute. Only his bootlickers were defending him.

Cool, just need to wait for congress and the president to pass a bill against their own interest. Any day now I'm sure!

That's my thing. Aren't they also going to cause a lot of republican voters to not be able to vote too? IDK about you, but most of the world travelers with passports at the ready that I know tend to be a lot more liberal. And the "nuclear family" party is more likely to be republican? Or is there an exception of where if you're planning to vote republican you don't have to show ID?

I mean, honestly they might. This whole thing has just been a ploy to line billionaires pockets even more at the expense of the taxpayer/consumer. They knew the tariffs were illegal from the beginning. But corps marked up prices anyway. Then they're going to get their refunds which will go straight back to the corps, and prices will remain high. Since it's all just going to the CEOs/Shareholders anyway, why not use some taxpayer money to "give back" even more?

Sure are a lot of words being said and no ACTIONS taken by any democrats.
