I feel like I have been seeing this repost a lot lately. Did i miss a band wagon?
All I see is a bunch of wavy lines.
I feel like I am missing something important here. I know there is a joke, but what is the punch line?

Slightly worse, the author does not get paid unless the mod sells well enough first.
For further further reference, the mod sales need to clear US$100-200 (I think) before steam starts handing out the cash to the author

No they aren't. Most people these days start ignoring commercials the second they bring out the T&A.
