I thought the same thing. Games shouldn't be buggy on release, sure, but it can't be used as a fixed con. Patches exist for a reason.
Primal is all about stealth. When you're spotted it can get hairy pretty quickly. Definitely worth picking up. Just give it time.
I enjoyed it a lot more than expected. I like that you had to think a bit more with attacks. No long-range snipe or rocket launcher options.
I can't split 3 and 4. Jason is a tool but Vaas is awesome. Gyrocopter and hovercraft in 4 are ace. Eagles are shite. As for Primal....
The controls are arse (like so many old games) but it's a unique experience. The sheer scale of it them. And the soundtrack is the balls
