Everything is made from hand and from the land; excpet the iron this comes from Sweden; but I hope we can be forgiven for not collevting this ourselves
We are not wealthy, we are lucky. The land has been in the family for generations and we’ve built the hall for ourselves and to provide a means for funds. It is a venue but also a home. Everything comes from the lands and the only expense is time and what we’ve earned with it.

High precipitate in your area is a story, but a single page, the area (lat/long) tells another story. In your area specifically, area nearby have melted faster and earlier than ever before, leading to high precipitation counts in some regions; especially mid-season, that lead to negligible recovery.
Yes - each Snow station typically has other sensors, however as of Jan 2026 the only consistently updated source for this is my site (daily). The federal reporting and forecasts are now monthly, and only available via API and not a public format.

This was an error on my part, my model is only set as default to fire period, Nov-Jan is not considered part of this. I have updated the scale on my graph and now reflect this.
The reason I did this initially is that ENSO fluctuations during Nov-Jan have a very very small relationship to storm/fire seasons predictions in the corridor of study. I have since updated this. However, my model only really considers the periods post Jan, when SWE begins to depreciate.

Yes and no, some areas had huge spikes in precipitation. This is actually a tricky metric to consider - and is a wonderful subject and problem I’m currently investigating called the spring paradox.
California for instance had huge spikes in precip at the same stations I now see are at their 117 year low.
Why? The snow turns to rain and the reporting is the same for precipitation.
The worst part is that water provisions (how water is divided in the state) were decided at that moment.
