I was a cashier in high school, and I was _fast_. Our self-checkouts a) can't scan as fast as I can move, and b) have the idiotic bagging area weigh scale which forces you to go one item at a time anyway.I go to humans for anything more than a half-dozen items.Special shout-out to the checkouts that, when I typed in a vegetable code of 4082, decided they had received 4802.
