This literally happened to me. I’m Asian, and a Black woman came up to me in the grocery store. BW: Excuse me?Me: Yes?BW: Can you tell me where the Asian spices are?Me: I’m not sure. BW, narrowing her eyes: You are…Asian, aren’t you?Me: Yes, but I don’t know where they keep them in this store. (Looking at the signs) The sign on aisle 13 is for ethnic food, so maybe try there.
