Islay or speyside/highland? Aka smokey or not
Not an islay myself, but enjoy the whiskey that makes you happy!
Balvenie is my favorite scotch. I have been enjoying many higher proof bourbons as well lately.

If scotch do they like the smokey scotch? Laphroaig, adberg?
I need a little more information before I could make a recommendation. Are they into scotch, irish, or american whiskey?

The full proof is really good, but strong. I am dieing to find some sweet wheat.
I really like the Balvenie 12 Doublewood. Are you into bourbon? I can recommend bourbons that should give a try.
Which 1792 is your favorite?
I picked one up before Xmas, really good pour!
Trust me those are both on my list, especially Angel's Envy!
I really like the campfire. I had it at a bar about a month ago. I like high west offerings in general.

I have been thinking about it for a long time and the design has changed a dozen times!
Custom wood with stain around the outside with painted black shelves and lighting. Probably no mirrors.
I brought that bottle back from PR. Really good stuff!

You certainly have scotch covered. I have 3 scotches. A blended, and 2 speysides.

I couldnt believe it when I saw it on the shelf with 5 buddies behind him. I normally dont spend over 50 on booze

If I am going that high of a proof I am getting bookers!
I am not a buyer at really anything over a hundred. I just cant spend that kind of money on something I piss out 2 hours later.

I definitely prefer Eagle Rare over Buffalo Trace. I have not been able to find Weller yet at a reasonable price.
I have been eyeing both of those! I expect my collection to double in size this year.
If you want to black out I would suggest a barrel proof selection. You'll black out much quicker.
