I do that about every four years, give or take. It has given me valuable perspective that I wouldn't otherwise have.
Ive had to, as did my wife. In order to pay for things such as student loans on top or rent, it became a necessity. We dont have to anymore.

As a former US Army grunt, can confirm. Its gets more questionable the closer to the "front lines" you get.
