Didin't expect to see so many replies.
My experience was slightly different, saw gains of up to 1 foot at my boot camp. Truly a sight to behold.

Just look up 'Complete Protein' there are non-meat foods that contain all the necessary amino acids for a diet.

In it's own reference frame it will still age
