I like things that are shaped like bananas or hot dogs. Or eggplants. Send pics?

And election officials would pretty much never contact federal agents. They would call the local police.

Under Minnesota law at least, neither of those is a sufficient reason to remain at a polling site. Peace officers should only be there if they are requested by the election officials to restore order or voting as private citizens within their home precinct. And then they are required by law to leave.

Seems like the players assaulting one another isn’t helping. Maybe it’s time they band together and start assaulting refs.

Trump was impeached, twice. Unfortunately, neither resulted in conviction despite his obvious and proven guilt.

Liberalism has a real messaging problem to solve with straight white men as a bloc of the electorate. By defining them as the enemy, we are driving them TO the Republican Party. Racists and fascists are the bad guys, not “straight white men.”

Yes it’s brittle, but people forget that glass is essentially a man-made rock

It’s exploiting human attention to manipulate the algorithm. The creator knows that platforms loop short-form content, so they make videos that seamlessly loop to trick people into watching them twice. More views = more engagement.

He hates Obama because people respect Obama and they don’t respect him. He doesn’t understand that respect is earned.

Invaders deserve their fate. The first rule of war is to not start one.

I love that it’s not all condescending and “girly.” This promotional material could be used unchanged for a men’s sporting event and people would still take it seriously. That’s equality and that’s representation.

They would find a way to throw poor people at the risk instead. If we want to stop it, we don’t need to make it risky. We need to make it expensive.

Democrats are better for the economy that people and small businesses experience. Republicans are better for the economy that large corporations and megadonors experience.

But hour-long, tax-exempt lunches and sexually assaulting secretaries was perfectly fine? Okay.

No, they don’t want that. They want to make his existence illegal so they can put him in a concentration camp. This is one step on a longer, more dreary road.

The NSA already conducts warrantless surveillance of American citizens, often illegally (or, more accurately, often in a legal gray area with plausible deniability). I’ll keep using my VPN thanks.

Exactly, and that’s what *ahem* some people in the government don’t understand. America *has* vast power, yes, but the primary thing supporting that power is our global allies and what used to be some measure of goodwill from other major powers.

Put another way, the US is about the only country that has maintained the strength that would be needed to fight on a global scale. The problem is that its raw materials, manufacturing capacity, and especially infantry readiness aren’t sufficient to sustain that power for very long

Yes and no. The American navy is the cornerstone of its global power. There are few other countries that could project their military force half a world away on almost no notice, and no other military could disrupt global shipping as effectively.

And much like every other bad thing, the regime’s plan to stop it is to prevent anyone from reporting about it and then say the problem is solved.

The US Navy is owned by American taxpayers. I’m not sure Donald Trump is a member of that group.

Lots of people seem to be reacting to the headline instead of the article. Verifying your age (which I won’t be doing tyvm) lets you opt in to adult servers. That’s it. If you’re not already using Discord for porn then you’ll likely never notice the change.
