I am just this guy, you know?

It's weird how happy this one makes me. I think it's about sharing suffering. I sat through it, you say through it, and now WE ARE FRIENDS FOREVEER

I know that Zack Galifianakis has a new netflix show about randomly moving somewhere up near you. How's shit? Not been in a couple years... April Point? Painter's?

We were doing some weird runs up through blind channel and I think we got lost and died. I think it was hitting a deadhead, passing between a ferry and barge and not timing the slack, maybe a whirlpool. You live in a badass place

You sort of blew my mind. I've been online since 1987 when I was 10 years old and now I am 50. Which means we all think the internet is young but we have been aging with it and there are definitely dudes that were 40 in 1987 who are 90 and probably online commenting.

Was yours on before or after inspector gadget on channel 36 in the bay area?

I have to check the rule book about mentioning legendary ships LOL

I am fully supportive of that. After posting I actually looked it up because I thought it was pierced buns. And then somebody said silently in and out lol

But I had an idea for a tattoo 30 years ago that was just two things together that didn't make sense and I was going to delight and watching people try to make sense of it. Might still do it at 50

I am not parasocial with famous types and I love art but get we're human, so I don't "trauma play" with celebrity death much... but he's a day off from life when he dies.

My favorite example of him is that no one thinks about or talks about a evil, mean, bad person after they die. They cease to exist in every way... but it's good people that are carried forward. It's interesting, and I was shocked as OP to hear a Rush reference knowing he is... above all else... meaningless and has no meaning or bite anymore.

Thank you for that. The brutal reality of addicting people for profit is pretty tiring and from technology or gambling, I'm taking a cue of looking at the red flags and abandoning assholes. Thanks for that.

OMFG I had a stroke trying to figure out how I'd seen it, but it looked different, and thought he re-recorded it and didn't notice the filter. The internet needs to be normal.

[Steve Buscemi Hey Fellow Kids Meme] lol

I think he's basically the best in the biz right now. Not many people are bringing *anything* new. Just a singular voice.

it's good

This is insane to me.

Didn't want to politically rant too much, but this memory is SO CLEAR to me. The catalytic convertor in 1975, alone did so much.

Time + tech is compartmentalizing our memory of regulation & gov efficacy. Legislation has done so much for safety, etc. The GOP has poisoned the public deliberately such that people think institutions don't work, and began to distrust them. That's the whole gameplan... mess everything up, lie about it being "big government", and show why government doesn't work.

I've watched dry lightning on nights that started crazy fires here in California. It's really rare, and when we see it now, like the wind we used to love in Spring, it's SCARY AS SHIT. I was out in Boulder for summers years ago, and the brief lightning storms in the afternoon were so amazing to watch. I loved lightning then. Now everything is scary. LOL

I'm joking. It's Beeple. I get it. Also:

This one is so superb... it's not AI (been around a long time right?), and it gets so much weirder the longer you view it. Love this.

Ah yes, I see you've come across "Our algorithm is really AI now" marketing.

Are you out of the United States and that's what you're seeing? Like this clip, it's all dependent on where you're viewing from I guess.

Blue sky is sort of okay but also like everywhere else overly political. But Reddit is absolutely bonkers now. I'm a real person and I post a really random amount of crap, and it sucks that even the real posters end up swallowed up in this bizarre dead internet theory thing. Geez

I have a feeling a move away from paper ballots in the mail that can be tracked along the lifetime of voting is the point, and they know how to hack voting machines with no digital paper trail. That's my guess on this push to make voting nearly impossible for all but white men.
