I saw the blooms appear about two weeks ago. By now I can tell when it will bloom within 24 hours.
I had to barely water mine this winter to encourage blooming. About 1.5 cups of water once a month worked this winter.

Sorry, it’s a Night-Blooming Cereus, and the blooms only last the night.
