I'm in Montana now & stayed in Glacier NP for 3 days & it's incredible. A must see. Btw, annual national park passes are $80. Worth noting.

Pretty sure it does hurt like teething. Source: I volunteered at a wildlife rescue & the deer acted like dogs & we rubbed their antler nubs.
This was only before the winter Olympics but was taken away in 2013. Still neat to bring to our attention though :)
